Anna
Hey there! I’m Anna, a student midwife at DFW Community Birth & Wellness. I’ve been studying midwifery since August 2023!
My fascination with birth began as a young girl, watching my mom go through so many pregnancies (I’m one of nine children!). By my teenage years, I realized that this love for birth was more than just an interest - it was a true passion!
Since becoming a doula in the summer of 2021 and starting my journey in birth work, I’ve been continually amazed by the wonder of birth, and the strength of women. Every time I attend a birth, I am sure I’ve witnessed a true miracle!
As a future midwife, my vision is to advocate for mothers, provide heartfelt maternity care, and build sincere relationships with my clients. My aim is to create a space for personalized support for all women and their families.
I am truly honored to learn from the incredible Jenn and Elizabeth as I continue my journey toward becoming a midwife!
Much love!
A few years ago we did a birth where Anna was our client’s doula. Her love, compassion and intuition shined through. When she reached out asking about apprenticing with us as a student midwife we didn’t have to think twice! Anna is a student at DFW Community Birth School and acts as our student coordinator assisting with those interested in being a midwife as well!
If you are interested in having Anna as your doula, apart of your midwifery care or would like more information on becoming a student midwife you can send a message here.
